It’s only Tuesday, yet I feel as if I graduated already! My last day with my ‘ukulele class was filled with hugs, laughter, flowers (especially a blue rose because I’m from Kamehameha xD), cards (the future Junior Sandfleas gave me his heart), food, memories, & music :) I’m seriously going to miss going to ‘ukulele class! :( But it’s not goodbye…I know I’ll see them again someday <3 #personal #tooemotional

After ten years, my years as a member of Brother Noland’s Sandfleas come to a close tomorrow :/ It’s been a fun ten years, & I learned and experience so many lessons besides learning how to play the ‘ukulele. I gained the knowledge & freedom to express myself in music…I gained many stories and Hawaiian lessons…I experienced performing at many events…& I gained a second family :) Yeah, I may complain about being bullied by little kids, but both the Sandfleas & Junior Sandfleas and I have a bond that no other high school senior can experience with kids in elementary & middle school, and to be able to learn under the teachings & guidance of Brother Noland is an honor in itself. The three of us were basically the Three Musketeers ever since we met in Mrs. Newman’s class in kindergarden. Twelve years later, the bond is still present even though we haven’t been all together for a few years :) I guess it makes sense for him to graduate before us since he was the only one who stayed at St. Theresa all nine years haha xD Congratulations on graduating from McKinley, Matthew! :D #personal @woaherica
